How I met Ron Hornbaker
I met Ron at the Ft. Worth BookCrossing convention, April 2005, when he and the rest of the founders had a brainstorming session in their suite late one night.

Yet another individual brought into my life via BookCrossing, and finally met in person at the convention in Ft. Worth, April 2005. This tall lanky balding fellow heard someone call me by name and the next thing I knew I was swooped up in a tremendous bear hug. Skyring gives the best hugs. You must experience one for yourself sometime!
BookCrossing and LiveJournal have brought some of the most wonderful people into my life. One of those people is Eireannaigh. After several years of online friendship, we had the opportunity to meet in person in July 2005 as I drove across country. We met for dinner one night as I dashed across Kansas. We exchanged books and hugs, and had a stranger take our picture. Eireannaigh is one of the coolest people on earth.
GreedyReader is another person I became acquainted with through BookCrossing and furthered our acquaintance on LiveJournal. I finally had the opportunity to meet her in person at the BookCrossing convention in Ft. Worth, Texas, in April 2005.
I first met Madame briefly in the BookCrossing forums, but we became online friends through LiveJournal. We lived in the same state at the time, just a short drive away. One day, we decided we lived too close to remain online friends alone, and made arrangements to have lunch together. And we did!
Madame is bright and sassy and delightful, and I’m blessed to call her my friend.
I first met TexasWren online in the BookCrossing forums. Her wisdom and kindness was abundantly evident through her posts on the community message boards. I finally met her in person in April 2005 at the BookCrossing convention in Ft. Worth, Texas. She’s every bit as beautiful in person as she is in her writing. Love you, TW!
